Unfortunately there'southward no like shooting fish in a barrel solution. You could:

i) Remove the HDD bay entirely
ii) Cutting a hole in the HDD bay
three) Remove the plastic shroud and come across if it fits. If information technology however doesn't, you could grind off the edge of the heatsink. I would remove the heatsink from the carte du jour showtime though.
4) Substitution the card for a smaller 1
5) Use a PCIe riser cable and plop your card outside your PC
6) Rage for the next 2 hours and exercise cypher well-nigh it

Your just hope is that the width of the carte is smaller than the HDD bay. If it is, then you can put it in at an angle, with the back going in first, and when its plugged in the motherboard the back of the card volition literally be inside of the HDD bay.

If that doesn't work, your only options are to buy a different graphics card, buy a larger case, or rig up an open up air system without a protective example.

Unfortunately at that place's no easy solution. You could:

1) Remove the HDD bay entirely
2) Cutting a hole in the HDD bay
three) Remove the plastic shroud and meet if it fits. If it still doesn't, yous could grind off the edge of the heatsink. I would remove the heatsink from the card first though.
4) Substitution the card for a smaller one
5) Use a PCIe riser cable and plop your card outside your PC
6) Rage for the next 2 hours and do goose egg about it

Which instance is it? If yous tin can remove the HDD cage, that's what y'all'll have to do.

Cutting a hole big enough for the card was my original plan. I'm not sure if it would piece of work though. I just wanted to make sure if there'southward any other, inexpensive way.
If it won't work, I'll only purchase a new case. I'm a bit mad because I thought in that location would exist ~1cm of infinite for my card (checked it before). After all, I already spent ~200$.

The instance is an former one, don't exactly remember - i of Qoltec's ATX cases.

So, is cutting a pigsty a good thought? I can movement HDD a bit lower I call up.

Sounds similar a good plan to me! :) Aside from ownership a new case, that's all you can do.

Would the carte du jour fit if yous [theoretically] removed the HDD cage, installed the card, and and so re-installed the HDD cage? If and then, y'all tin can probably squeeze the menu in like IInuyasha74 said before.

I don't really know how to remove HDD muzzle in my case. I guess I'll just cutting a hole - shouldn't be too difficult. I'll post again when I fix (or not) my problem.

Thanks for all replies.

Did y'all always fix? I have a very similar problem... I want a GTX 980 but my HDD bay will arrive the mode.
